Bluebird mornings, sunny skies, low humidity, and abundant sunshine make Breck the perfect spring or summer vacation destination. Now is the ideal time to see why we're more than just your favorite ski getaway. As the sun shines a little brighter and the days become a little longer, we like to spend our time exploring on foot, horseback, kayak, and more! We're excited to share some of our favorite activities with you and can't wait to welcome you to Breck this spring!
A Day on The Water:
After a fun but cold winter on the slopes, we look forward to warmer weather. We eagerly trade our snowsuits for swimsuits and beat the heat with a day on the water! This year calls for days spent boating on Lake Dillon, kayaking Frisco Bay Marina, or flyfishing in Lower Mohawk Lake. You can even rent kayaks, fishing boats, or pontoon boats from the Frisco Marina. This year, try something new and head to Charter Sports to rent SUP boards. Exploring Maggie Pond on an SUP board is a great way to take in the scenery and views. This activity provides a fun adventure everyone will remember. Speaking of memorable experiences, have you ever been white water rafting down the Arkansas River? Here's your chance to experience the natural beauty of Colorado from the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Local companies offer guided tours for both the expert and the beginner. As a guest of Great Western Lodging, book with Breckenridge's first and favorite rafting company - Performance Tours Rafting - to receive a 10% discount!
Explore Breck:
