Description

This townhome is in our best ski in/ski out location. Click into your skis outside your back door and you are set to go! This spacious 4-bedroom floorplan features a beautiful vaulted living area and master suite, a gourmet kitchen, and nice furnishings throughout this Breckenridge townhome. Soak in the mountain views from your private deck. Warm up in front of the rock fireplace, or in your own private outdoor hot tub. The master suite also features a wonderful master bathroom with jacuzzi tub and separate shower. You are provided with a heated one car garage and driveway, as well as the convenience of being right on the Snowflake Run. In the summer, this location is just steps above many town trails which circle through the beautiful wetlands and into the mountains. Located six blocks from town, and two blocks from a bus stop, you are not far from the Breckenridge action.

*Please note that the Snowflake Ski Run is very flat and does require some walking and/or poling for the ski-in access.

This house is right on the Snowflake run so you can walk out the back door go through your backyard about 15 yards and be on the run down to the Snowflake lift. It was a perfect location and a true ski in and ski out. The house is a bit dated and was not as stocked as some other houses but it worked great for us bc we wanted to be right on the mountain for ease. It was nice bc we had a group of 7 and people could come in and out for lunch or to rest. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Western Lodging is 5 star! We’ve been traveling to Breck for 9 years now and we only book through GWL. SADDLEWOOD 25 was perfect for our family of 6 traveling with an infant. They delivered a port-a-crib for us and made sure all our needs were met. Saddlewood 25 is a true ski in ski out off of Snowflake Run. Kitchen was fully stocked, beds were comfy, heated garage, this condo had it all!

Great place to stay! We really enjoyed this home and there was plenty space for us all (9 total) 5 kids ages 16-23. The convenience of walking out the door & popping on your skis and jumping on the snowflake lift was fantastic. Get your skis & boots at Charter Sports right there. The place was neat and clean and the floors are all heated…loved that!! We had a red fox that came to the hot tub 3 times and I heard a moose outside early one morn. Quick walk to the gray bus route for pickup. We would definitely return to this property!

This was a perfect place for our vacations! We loved the views, the location is wonderful.
Very spacious for our group of 10.
A true ski in-ski out house, literally our of the lower room you're on the slope or you can access through the private garage too.
Really close to main street too.
We were amazed by the place overall.. Can wait to be back and we'll try to rent it again.
Front desk was very responsive too to our questions or doubts.
Thanks for everything.

This house was perfect for our family. We had little children so the ski-in/ski-out was very important to us. The house was very clean. I would definitely recommend Great Western to any of my friends.

Excellent location - just save some energy to come home as there is some poling on Snowflake Run. GWL was very receptive and responded quickly to issues with dishwasher and humidifiers. Great set up for our 2 families who each have 2 teenagers.

Great location and plenty of space for 2 families with 2 teens each. There’s some poling coming home on Snowflake Run so save a little energy for that. Otherwise, everything was excellent!! Great Western Lodge was very receptive to issues with dishwasher and humidifiers. Responded quickly!

Great Ski in and Ski out location for Breckinridge. Ski right down to the snowflake lift and enjoy the trails. The master room gets a little chilly at night, but keep the fire going and thats what blankets are for. Other than the dining room chairs being exorbitantly uncomfortable this is one of the best ski in ski out locations I have stayed at!

This townhome is in a great location with ski in/ski out access via the Snowflake lift. It is very close to two ski rental places and the grocery store. It is a 3-story rental which provided ample space for my family of six. You could fit/sleep more, but the living/kitchen area may be cramped if there are more than eight people lounging at the same time. The single car garage is heated as are the floors in the townhome which was a nice surprise. There's plenty of room in the entry with a bench and closet to put all your gear in. The hot tub was very clean and a nice way to finish our days. The master bedroom and bathroom on the top floor are spacious, but could use more towels. With a hot tub and only 2-3 full sized towels per bathroom, and two hand towels in the kitchen, we had to wash towels during our stay. In addition to more towels, the kitchen needs new knives as they are very old and dull. There is no Tupperware so bring those if you plan to cook and save leftovers. There is also not a lot of room to store dry food (a portable pantry or hutch could remedy that) so we had the countertops full which limited cooking space. Overall, we loved this rental and would stay here again.

This house was great for our group of friends! We had 8 people and had plenty of space! The hot tub is really nice and sits right on the snowflake run! It is ski in and ski out but BEWARE snowflake run is part cat walk!
Great communal space within the center of the house! Bathrooms are updated and there are heated floors everywhere! Close to town but would need to drive or Uber, probably not walkable but great location overall!!!!

This a great house with lots of space for big groups! It was perfect for 8 friends to stay! It is ski in, ski out but BEWARE part of Snowflake run is a cat walk!
The hot tub was nice and up to date and sat right on the snowflake run!
The mattresses aren’t the most comfortable and the kitchen needs to be a little more stocked but other than that it is a great house and location! Would stay again!

We enjoyed the place - spacious and homey. Had a moose right outside our deck the 2nd night - fun to watch. Very comfortable and we had a great time. Our biggest complaint -- the mattresses need to be replaced. They were pretty worn and uncomfortable, and several comments in the guest book.

Breckenridge is a great town, will definitely be back again!! Thanks for sharing your home, it was fun!!

This unit is a true ski in/out. Everything was in place and worked, just slightly dated. They did have xfinity thought. Great Western made the whole process seamless.

Excellent location - close enough to town but not right in the center of town, so felt more like a mountain getaway than a hotel. It is a very spacious condo that accommodated our large group. The decor is great and beds comfortable. We really enjoyed the Jacuzzi and being able to hear the creek from the decks/patio. My only suggestion is that PM checks the gas provided for grill - we had 10 nice steaks on for dinner and ran out of gas halfway through cooking- by then the office had closed and we had to go into town, buy gas, the n continue cooking our steaks which was not ideal with a 30 minute delay in between, since we had to go to 3 places before we could find gas to buy! It would have been helpful to just have a 2nd gas tank there in case this happens - I imagine this isn't the first time. Luckily, management said they would credit me back the gas cost so I am waiting to see that hit my account. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were able to make all of our meals very easily - the only thing the kitchen needs is bowls (there were no cereal/soup bowls!) All in all this was a great stay and the management was responsive to us (we also had to call for sheets for the pullout sofa bed since we could not find those anywhere - they were delivered next morning so we had the 1st night sleeping on a blanket on top of the mattress rather than sheets). Overall I am happy with our stay and we we would definitely go back.

Outstanding property with amazing location right on the Snowflake run - literally 8 feet out the backdoor! Pictures do not do the house justice either...modern, comfortable furnishings with spacious layout that is excellent for a group. Also has space for two cars, and the Satellite Lot for additional vehicles is not too far away.

Spacious floorplan, great for ski-in/ski-out. A little further from town that we would like, but we knew that before we rented. When we arrived to the house, it was very clean. The private hot tub was really nice to relax in after skiing. Hope we can stay here again.

The condo was more than we expected for our family vacation in Breckenridge in July 2015. We had four family members with a total of 7 quests and the accommodations were more than we could have expected. The rooms with the 3 king or queen beds and one room with twin beds were more than adequate. The showers and bathrooms on each level was really convenient for all the guests. The condo allowed for enough room for everyone as well as it was great for dining in and preparing meals when we did not eat out. We enjoyed the view of the mountains as well as easy access to the trails for those who wanted to enjoy a hike and a view of the area around us.

We would definitely return to this or similar condo on any future visit to Breck.

Overall, a nice unit in a good location. We've stayed in the adjoining unit so we had a good idea of what to expect. Our only "issue" was that the second bedroom did not have a king size bed as stated on this site. I even called Great Western ahead of time about this and was given the wrong information.
