It’s no secret that Breckenridge is beautiful, just ask Forbes or Thrillest. And while you could put together what seems like a never ending list of reason’s this place is in fact so beautiful, one really stands out to me. You typically see it every night and it usually doesn’t stick around for too long. I’m talking about the amazing sunsets that cast over Breckenridge and the surrounding areas.
I know what you might be thinking, sunsets…Yeah, they happen everywhere so what? I thought that way once upon a time as well, and never did I think I would become so fascinated with them (and being originally from MI, we get some pretty decent sunsets), but how would I know if I had never experienced a Colorado sunset, let alone one in Breck? Fortunately for me, I have be afforded the chance to catch some pretty incredible ones over the past couple months…and while pictures will never do what the eye see’s justice, just take a look at how mother nature turns off the lights on our quaint little town!
If you haven’t had the opportunity to witness one of these sunsets in person for yourself, I highly recommend doing so. The colors and formation of the clouds are unlike any other sunset you may ever see, but make sure you catch it all because it can go from dramatic to subtle in the blink of an eye!
